"When you understand how your body works, everything changes."

Ann Cathrin Piper - Integrative Therapist rooted in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology

Health is not a coincidence. It emerges from the continuous interplay between body and mind, nervous system and environment, biography and biology.

My work brings together Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology, communication psychology, breath-based regulation, nutrition, natural medicine — and more than two decades of experience supporting people and organisations through change.

I believe health begins with understanding — understanding the body, its signals, patterns, and the deeper connections that shape how we feel, function and live.

Understand. Restore. Integrate.

Your nervous system, immune system, hormones and metabolism are in constant conversation.

Chronic stress leaves measurable biological traces — down to the cellular level.
Social isolation can trigger inflammatory processes. Sleep is not a pause, but one of the body’s most essential regenerative processes.

Psychoneuroimmunology studies these connections. It asks a different question than most health approaches:

Why does this body, in this person, in this situation, respond exactly this way?

The answer rarely lies in a single factor. Health emerges from the interplay of nervous system, immune system, hormones, metabolism, lifestyle and lived experience.

A systemic approach can create lasting change where isolated interventions often fall short.

I translate these insights into practical and meaningful steps by integrating approaches from:

  •  Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (cPNI)
  •  Nutrition & lifestyle guidance
  •  Psychology
  •  Systemic therapeutic work
  •  Breath and body-based regulation
  •  Natural medicine perspectives

For greater resilience, sustainable health and a deeper understanding of your body in everyday life.

A Personal Perspective

My work is shaped by both professional experience and personal transformation.

There was a time in my own life when body and mind clearly said: enough.
That experience changed the way I understand health.

Over the years, my curiosity led me through different disciplines and perspectives — from psychology and integrative health approaches to nutrition, natural medicine and eventually Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology.

Spending more than one and a half years travelling, learning and connecting with people from different cultures deepened this perspective even further. I became increasingly interested in how health, balance and healing are understood across cultures — from traditional health perspectives to everyday practices that support regulation, recovery and reconnection.

And perhaps most importantly: what truly helps people reconnect with themselves.

Today, my work is grounded in science — and shaped by lived experience, human connection and a holistic understanding of health.

Because meaningful change begins with understanding.

My Intention

I support people in better understanding their health — looking beyond isolated symptoms and exploring the deeper connections between body, mind and biology.

Through in-depth assessment, "deep learning", targeted interventions and meaningful lifestyle changes, we work towards greater balance and stronger regulation —
for lasting health.

Because understanding creates the foundation for greater self-responsibility, resilience and wellbeing.
